Why the ticket prices increase?
Due to the onslaught of rising business costs, goods, services, labour, film rentals, the
increase is inevitable. However, understanding that this change will affect our patrons,
Golden Village has introduced a slew of offers to enable our patrons to stretch their dollar at
the cinema.

Are all GV cinemas affected?
Yes, all nine GV locations will be revising its prices as of 27th March.

Are all cinema types prices raised, i.e. Gold Class, Cinema Europa?
Ticket prices for standard tickets at all our nine multiplexes will be revised, however, Gold
Class and Cinema Europa ticket prices as well as all ongoing movie promotional packages
and preferential rates with banks, students and other promotional partners will remain
unchanged.

How much will the ticket prices be increased by?
The ticket prices adjustment will be introduced through a 50 cents increase in the basic tier of
ticket prices.

What are sneaks / seasonal sneaks?
Sneaks are basically a preview of a particular movie before it officially opens to the public at
the theatres. Seasonal sneaks applies to previews on the eve of/and Public Holiday, May, June,
July Nov and Dec, School Holidays.

Why do I have to pay more for sneaks / seasonal sneaks?
Even before the revision in ticket prices, sneaks are charged higher as its a preview screening
before it opens to the public. Seasonal sneaks applies on the eve of/and Public Holiday, May,
June, July, Nov and Dec, School Holidays.

Will GV Movie Club members get special offers other than regular offers for non-members?
GVMC members get to enjoy tickets at members price of $6.50 every Tuesday as well as $1
off for Combo of the week and on-going promotions and special privileges.

What happens to current discounts?
All ongoing movie promotional packages and preferential rates with banks, students and
other promotional partners will remain unchanged.

What happens to the vouchers issued before the raise i.e. Movie Money, will they still be valid?
The vouchers will still be valid until the stated expiry date.
