A lot weighs on this second installment of The Hobbit as it is the film that connects the first with the last. Though lengthy with a dissatisfying and abrupt ending, the film proves masterful with its story and character development. 4 stars.

A good fantasy adventure plot & superb special effects, although movie is almost close to 3 hours but there is almost no boring parts, worth every cent

Love that the movie follows the book fairly closely. Introduction of familiar figures is a great touch but the female Wood Elf Tauriel seems a bit extra to me.

Worth every cent of the Gold Class ticket! Loved it but I thought the first one was better. The cast is fantastic and the CGI is flawless, naturally. Can’t wait for the last part next year!

CGI is commendable as usual. A little bit lengthy but action scenes kept the movie exciting. Anticipating the 3rd and final conclusion to this amazing story.

Feels that it is not as good as the Part 1. And it ended much more abrupt then the first Part. But it leaves everyone anticipating for the final trilogy! The CGI is really really great!

Excellent pace in this movie! Action packed as compared to the book. Villian sees more action this time. Worth every cent in this one.
