Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Dear Club members! This film is really worth seeing. My kids (twins - 6 years) as well as us (parents) had a lot of fun. But GV should remove the misleading 3D logo from the poster as shown. I was mislead and thought the film is in 3D. Karsten

i wud rate the movie as 2 popcorn for adults but 4 popcorns for children under the age of 12. But wif so many cartoons out there being adult rated, this is a clean family movie-great for children!

The movie doesn’t hold a candle to the original cartoons. However, it still made for a fun family movie with good morals & clean humor. The kids will enjoy it.

For someone from my generation that did not get to see much of the Smurfs as a cartoon, this film generally helps to summarize the whole story of Smurfs - their origin, lifestyles, behaviours and characteristics. Witty and humorous! 3.5/5

Nice wholesome movie, for the most part. Even had "oh my goodness, oh my gosh" instead of the usual blasphemy. I was impressed by that. But I did think the smurfs could have been cuter. Kids enjoyed the movie very much.
