In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document-until now. Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where--mysteriously since the 1960s--a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented.

A very good movie if not excellent. I’ll gave 4 LARGE popcorns with nachos plus a lot of cheese. This is a FIRST ever movie produced side by side with actual footages & audio recordings. A bit slow paced but overall a movie worth remembered.

The director did a great job on this pseudo-documentary by mixing "real" footage with re-enactments. It was genuinely creepy at parts with great acting by the supporting actors. The only downside is the slow pacing but overall, it was a great film.

A good movie is one that causes you to think extensively after walking out of the cinema. Based on the perspective of entertainment, this is a must watch. However, according to certain sources, it is said that this movie is fake. You judge it.

What a refreshingly different movie!! I felt quite disturbed after watching it. The ’real footage’ adds to the realism of the movie - blurring facts from fiction. Strongly recommend it to X Files and Fringe fans in Singapore.
