Definitely a ’must-see movie’. Great performances of a well chosen cast. Both leading characters are brilliant in their respective roles. The movie exposes the inner struggle we can all identify with at some point in our lives.

The first two-third of the film is really promising, but the resolution feels rather rushed. That said, I really like how the film captures London circa 1960s. Great cast too -Carey Mulligan, Alfred Molina and Rosamund Pike are superb in this.

The ending of the film is particularly poignant, and confirms the theme that, even if you make mistakes, they sometimes turn into memories you’ll cherish forever. A must see for teenagers!

A pleasant movie with a trivial ending. The movie poses an interesting question about the meaning of getting educated, but the answer is a total disappointment. If you want to make a guess about the movie, catch the first thought through your mind.

One of the year’s most satisfying pictures, An Education is a brilliant character study of one girl’s inner conflict with love and life, and raising issues of gender liberation in an era of paranoia. Outstanding acting throughout. A-
