Indeed an eye opening movie. Extremely real and exciting storyline. Reflects on the reality of war and all that’s happening that we don’t get to see in everyday life. Insight into zone zero.

Brutally raw yet delicately nuanced, this is arguably the best war film ever made! Renner turns in an Oscar-worthy performance as enigmatic bomb disposal expert Will James, ably supported by Mackie, Geraghty, Ralph Fiennes, David Morse & Guy Peace.

Eternality (Submitted on 16/10/09 10:58PM)
A film with some flaws including the overwhelming use of the ’shaky’ camera which, although gives a realistic docu-approach and heightens tension to quite unbearable levels, still makes it a difficult film to sit through. But it is an experience. B-.
