How much do we really know about the food we buy at our local supermarkets and serve to our families? In FOOD, INC., Robert Kenner lifts the veil on the food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the consumer with the consent of the government. The documentary reveals surprising-- and often shocking truths -- about what we eat and how its produced, what the cost to our health is, and how this wave of change is sweeping across the global food industry.

While we learn a lot from this documentary, Food, Inc. lacks the entertaining factor like Fast Food Nation, Sicko or Super-Size Me. Watching Food, Inc. feels like quite of a bore.

There are days where you just feel like watching a movie but you dont want to watch any more Hollywood fluff. Something more... REAL. Why should we eat healthy and what really goes into a 2-dollar burger? *Must Watch*

It’s a real shame how big insutions that become so powerful bully others and cheat the public. Power truly corrupts and monetary greed is such a powerful source of evil. Someone shd make a similar doc pertaining to the world than to just America.

Food, Inc. is at the very least thought-provoking and incites anger towards the corporate-controlled food industry. The parts are well-substantiated but as a whole, the film slightly lacks in cohesiveness and is not particularly well-linked. 7/10.
