The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters "Ice Age" and "Ice Age: The Meltdown" are back, on an incredible adventure...for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth, Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs; and Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he's growing too "soft" hanging with his pals. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna run amuck - and meet a relentless, one-eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

The first Ice Age movie was fantastic, but unfortunately no 2 and 3 brings nothing new... As an adult I was actually quite disappointed. The movie is best suited for children, as they can enjoy the same jokes over and over again.

Compared to the 1st installment, this was a tad disappointing. There were hardly any funny moments and the creators basically the same ideas from the original.

Entertaining and funny movie, but I think the family theme doesn’t sit in too well with me. Nevertheless it’s a good movie that would be enjoyable both kids and parents. :)

I rate it as an average movie. A few tidbits here and there, average plot and scripts. Fun for children but OK for adults, unless you dig CGs.
