Celebrity photographer Connor Mead loves freedom, fun and women...in that order. A committed bachelor who thinks nothing of breaking up with multiple women on a conference call, Connors mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for his kid brother, Paul, and a houseful of well wishers on the eve of Paul's wedding. Just when it looks like Connor may single-handedly ruin the wedding, he gets a wake-up call from the ghost of his late Uncle Wayne (MICHAEL DOUGLAS), which he delivers through the ghosts of Connors jilted girlfriends-past, present and future taking Connor on a revealing and hilarious odyssey through a lifetime of failed relationships. Together they attempt to find out what turned Connor into such an insensitive jerk and whether there is still hope for him to find true love...or if he really is the lost cause everyone thinks he is.

Combination of Dir. Waters and McConaughey creates unique script and cinematic approaches. Not to mention Garner’s on-screen magic past spy-action character. Douglas adds on with playboy-image influence Connor got. You can remember here the 80s. 3.5

An enjoyable movie indeed...with a serious message about true love and selflessness. Matthew McConaughey has been one of my favourite actors since his act in "A Time To Kill". A truly touching movie to watch, my kinda movie anytime anywhere! :)

This was really a movie to be forgotten. The so-called humour was lame and shallow. It seems that the plot was only servicing the tasteless humour. Haven’t we all seen movies telling us the true meaning of love? whats new? Cheap fun without the fun.

This movie was ABSOLUTELY entertaining with no room to leave you breathing! A great thriller at all times, peppered with a bit of humour that will make you laugh...No regrets for watching this! A MUST recommendation!

absolutely loved this movie! watching it for the 3rd time next week! though its a rather cliche story plot but kudos to the writers, coz i loved the witty humor and the superb casts. perfect show for when im with my gal pals or my other half... enjoy

It reminds the people to remember how to love and care for people instead of pursuing something materialistic and superficial. Quite a romantic movie, it’s a good weekday movie and the plot can improve with a hard to get ending

The story tells about re-discovery of one self, in a funny way. The movie happened to be boring for me. But I think it is fine to put away my monday blus. Michael Douglas plays an outstanding role in the film. I like the brotherhood plot as well.
