Trained in clandestine combat from childhood, the Jinyiwei were masters of the 14 Blades. Above the law and with a license to kill, they devoted their lives and lethal prowess to the service of the Emperor alone.

When the Imperial Court is taken over by evil eunuch JIA, the best of the Jinhyiwei, QINGLONG is assigned to steal a list identifying those still loyal to the Emperor. Unbeknownst to Qinglong, the Jinyiwei have fallen under the control of Jia, and during the mission he's betrayed and barely escapes with his life.

Now as the most wanted man in the land Qinglong must seek out and rally the loyalists to rise against Jia and restore the Emperor to power.

In his way are the deadliest assassins in the land, his former brethren, the Jinyiwei.

Trust Zhao Wei and Donnie Yen to give their best in any role. And do you see my 5-popcorn rating? That is all I can say. Definitely going to get the DVD for keepers.

The show is worth watching because of Donnie Yen. His kungfu skills are really good. Don’t quite like the ending as the hero died with his enemy whom is a girl. He was such a good fighter but lost the battle to a girl.

Movie is average. Fight choreography was excellent, however, movie suffers with not so good story and really slow pace. Script should have been tighter.

Well balanced martial arts movie. Tight storyline and kudos for the great scriptwriting. Can’t wait for the DVD release.

love the action and romance! and didnt expect humour which succeeded in making all of us lol. most importantly, kudos to Zhao Wei and Donnie Yen’s acting! Zhao Wei really good in her sentimental scenes and Donnie in his action scenes. a must-watch!

One great action movie that not only binds with history of jinyiwei but also the profound martial arts. Brings out the romance, and spirit of being a real hero. A movie definitely worth watching!

Great kung-fu movie...good acting by Donnie Yen, as usual. But the script is quite predictable...but overall, a movie worth watching.
